Nel 2009 il Dott. Castiglione ha conseguito l’abilitazione in Medicina e Chirurgia. Successivamente ha completato la sua formazione specialistica in Urologia presso l’Università Vita Salute San Raffaele di Milano. Da allora è diventato membro sia del Comitato Europeo di Medicina Sessuale che dell’European Board of Urology. In Belgio, il dottor Castiglione ha conseguito il dottorato di ricerca studiando le cellule staminali per la cura della disfunzione erettile. Per approfondire la sua esperienza clinica, ha effettuato un anno di volontariato in India presso l’Istituto di chirurgia uretrale di Pune, dove ha appreso le tecniche chirurgiche più avanzate per trattamento della stenosi uretrale.

Esperienza lavorativa

Il dottor Castiglione si è trasferito nel Regno Unito nel 2016, completando la sua formazione specialistica in andrologia e diventando infine consultant presso l’UCLH. il dottor Castiglione ha pubblicato più di 80 articoli sottoposti a revisione paritaria ed è professore associato presso l’University College di Londra ed è stato recentemente premiato come il migliore esperto di medicina sessuale europeo nel 2022. Inoltre, ha presentato in numerose conferenze e riunioni a livello nazionale e internazionale sui suoi argomenti specializzati.

Attualmente, il dottor Castiglione è un appassionato ricercatore, e sta conducendo diverse ricerche sulla urologia ricostruttiva, disfunzione erettile post-prostatectomia e strategie di riabilitazione del pene e terapia con cellule staminali, comprese le cellule staminali derivate dal tessuto adiposo (ADSC) e sul plasma ricco di piastrine per la cura dell’ impotenza. Il dottor Castiglione è stato nominato Prostate Cancer UK Champion dalla piu grande charity per il cancro alla prostata nel Regno Unito. Ha l’obiettivo di sviluppare nuovi percorsi clinici e fornire miglioramenti significativi per il trattamento delle disfunzioni sessuali per i pazienti che hanno subito trattamenti per il cancro alla prostata.

Membro di diverse società scientifiche internazionali, tra cui ESSM, ISSM e EAU, il Dr. Fabio Castiglione è pronto ad offrire la sua esperienza e competenza nella cura delle disfunzioni sessuali, infertilità e patologia prostatica.
